FRIDAY 21st JUNE

VENUE:
LIGHTHOUSE
28 Kensington Street
Brighton BN1 4AJ UK
INVESTIGATE • INFORM • CREATE CHANGE
✧ What are the most pressing issues for women in the UK right now?
✧ What do we want the future to look like for women?
✧ What works now that we can celebrate and leave behind?

You may not feel like an activist.
You might not even be attracted to the word ‘feminist’.
But if you don’t think there are any equality issues for women in the UK – well, then it’s time to listen up!

Here’s an opportunity to take part in panels and workshops to create the future for women that we want.

The ripple effect will grow across the borders of the UK and all around the world.

MI ELFVERSON | FRSA

FOUNDER OF THE VLOG ACADEMY

CREATOR OF EYESTORM WOMEN

UN Women UK Delegate

After 25 years in film and TV production, I started The Vlog Academy, to teach business owners how to create their own smartphone videos. But I soon saw that women needed their own support platform. They had different questions, different fears, different blocks and needs.

My visibility programme for women in business, EyeStorm, was born.

This opened up a whole new level of engagement for women empowerment and gender equality.

EyeStorm has now grown to an award winning community in its own right, with events and workshops, where we work together to elevate women, create impact and amplify women’s voices to reach gender equality as fast as possible.

A creative consultant, who believes in the power of using comedy and courage to cultivate confidence. (and all of the good kind of C Words!)

Linz is our EyeStorm Women Community Manager, a cheerleader and makes sure everyone knows where to go, what to do and how to make the most every day!

She will be guiding us through her magic and mystery cards and show us how, in finding comedy, she found herself, and by using stand up comedy techniques, you too can give yourself the legs and voice that you need to stand up and be yourself!
