We’re giving you a festival of speakers, learning and fun! The morning will be a bit more business and future focussed, the afternoon will offer a mixture of more lifestyle related workshops, some fizzy wine and entertainment – all with gender equality at the core!

LORELEI MATHIAS:
COMEDY IS THE BEST MEDS

A seriously funny mixed media show with The all-round MermaiDHD, author and creator of Melon Comedy’s ‘Life in ADHD’ web series

 
A regular neurodiversity panellist and contributor to BBC Radio (from BBC 5 Live to Today Programme) Lorelei believes comedy has a unique power to make people feel less alone, particularly when it comes to ADHD.
 
Her mantra is that comedy is the best meds – and she should know, she’s tried everything else on the NHS!
 
Lorelei is the founder of cause-powered-comedy collective, MelonComedy.com (‘stunning’, British Comedy Guide), whose award-winning shorts have screened at comedy clubs from Melbourne to London, and led to collaborations with CALM, The ADHD Foundation and the World Mental Health Day Federation.
 
An Edinburgh TV Fest best web series nominee and appearing in the latest Green Wing, the Guardian and BBC, Lorelei’s been nominated multiple times for Funny Women Awards, Comedy 5050 & British Comedy Guide.

SUSTAINABLE FASHION SHOWCASE

Sophia inspires and empowers leaders to embrace their style and gain confidence. She is also the founder of Fine- tuned wardrobe, a multi award-winning women’s Sustainable styling business.

As a Sustainable Stylist, Sophia’s approach sets her apart from conventional fashion stylists. Rather than advocating mindless consumerism and fast fashion, she inspires her clients to refresh and enhance their existing wardrobes, utilising items they already own.

She works with her clients to use clothes as a tool for empowerment and a source of confidence, and Sophia passionately believes that sustainable and slow fashion can be beautifully incorporated into one’s wardrobe without compromising on style.

Helen Guinness

Transformational Coach
Helen is a Transformational Coach whose purpose is to challenge assumptions in order to support individuals and organisations to find their own integrity. She was a pioneer of leadership development and coaching in the UK at a time when neither were acknowledged. She is a co-author of Making Management Simple, How To Books and is the Founder of The Wisdom Exchange.

Mary Kemp

Co-Founder of Simpler with AI
Mary is passionate about making AI easy to understand and incredibly useful for businesses. She helps companies integrate AI into their daily operations. Her mission is to transform AI from something intimidating into a powerful ally for businesses. Mary especially loves working with female founders, helping them tap into AI’s potential to innovate and succeed. For her, AI isn’t just about technology—it’s about helping us be more human and making goals more achievable with less stress.

Alison Wilkins

Brighton Wellbeing Company
Alison is the founder of the Brighton Wellbeing Company. She is passionate about supporting employees to take ownership of their health, which impacts their energy, performance and creativity. As a speaker, consultant and leader in wellbeing at work, Alison invites leaders to 'Dare to Care" - creating a ripple effect of positive change that impacts the workplace and the wider community, encouraging resilience, compassion and collective wellbeing.

Abbie Collins

Abbie leads a team of Relationship Manager’s who support SME businesses across Sussex. With 27 years Banking experience at NatWest she has a good understanding of the local market as well as the opportunities and challenges small businesses face. Abbie is passionate about supporting women in business and supporting businesses on their sustainability journey to ensure they are future fit.

Lara Williams

Co-founder and Director at Momentum4
Lara is the co-founder and Director at Momentum4, a people performance consultancy, that drives transformative growth in individuals and teams. She creates environments where everyone thrives by empowering people to elevate their performance, boost energy, and strengthen resilience for sustainable success. Passionate about supporting women through menopause, Lara is dedicated to helping them stay, progress, and flourish in their careers during this pivotal life chapter.

Alex Pearson MBE

Personal Leadership & Sustainability
The Yurt Academy
Alex specialises in Personal Leadership and Sustainability and is a qualified Carbon Literacy Trainer and Climate Fresk facilitator. She is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sussex Business School. Alex is most at home in a changing environment and is able quickly to see solutions and opportunities. Alex spent twenty-five years in Beijing, China where she worked with organisations of all sizes to inspire and develop their individual and team capabilities.

Jo Godden

Circular Textile Expert
RubyMoon & RubyLab
Jo is a circular textile expert, ethical swimwear designer, a mother and activist. 
After 25 years working in the unsustainable fashion industry, Jo decided to be part of the solution and founded RubyMoon, an ethical swimwear design brand, and also RubyLab, which works to positively impact the social and environmental state of our planet, with the knowledge that women and innovation are key to a better future.

Dani Cooper

Comedy Workshop
Dani Cooper is a reformed Eastend comedian who specialises in delivering relatable and honest (perhaps too honest) tales of a queer woman in the prime of her life. Her pathological need to connect with strangers shines through in both her act and her MCing.

Linz is a creative consultant, who believes in the power of using comedy and courage to cultivate confidence. (and all of the good kind of C Words!) Linz is our EyeStorm Women Community Manager, a cheerleader and makes sure everyone knows where to go, what to do and how to make the most every day! She will be guiding us through her magic and mystery cards and show us how, in finding comedy, she found herself, and by using stand up comedy techniques, you too can give yourself the legs and voice that you need to stand up and be yourself!

Shahina O'Mahoney

Young Women's Workshop
Shahina O’Mahoney is a Movie and TV industry veteran, having led content strategy teams for over 30 years at Prime Video, Virigin Media, the Disney Channel among other world-renowned brands. She has managed streaming negotiations of shows from Peppa Pig to Neighbours across 200 countries. Shahina graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BSC in Computing and Informatics and she has two adult kids.

Mi Elfverson

Head of EyeStorm Women
Founder of The Vlog Academy
After 25 years in film and TV production, Mi started The Vlog Academy, to teach business owners how to create their own smartphone videos. But she soon saw that women needed their own support platform. They had different questions, different fears, different blocks and needs. EyeStorm, was born. EyeStorm has now grown to an award winning community in its own right, with events and workshops, where we work together to elevate women, create impact and amplify women's voices to reach gender equality as fast as possible.
