How often haven’t we heard this derogatory expression – Speak up woman!
What if we never had to tell a woman to speak up again, because we’ve all become confident, supported and given an opportunity to grow a strong voice?
The Speak Up Woman! platform has been created to support more women to get seen and heard.
It comes with different parts and you can choose what you need support with, or just be part of the audience.
The 6-week training programme will have prepared our speakers and their talks. It’s a safe space where the women can try out their voice, build up confidence and get their talk into shape and rehearse. The programme ends with an in-person live event as the finale, where the women get on stage to speak in front of a very supportive small audience. The talk will be recorded on video so they can share it to promote themselves if they want.Â
The talks will also be shared on our platform.
Any woman can buy into the Speak Up Woman! online video course and do it on their own in their own time if they don’t want to be part of the programme.
Any woman can sign up to just talk at the Speak Up Woman! live event.
The Live event(s) is currently free and open to the public to give the women a live audience to practice on, so you can join us to see them there.

Founder of The Vlog Academy, Creator of EyeStorm and Speak Up Woman!
After nearly 30 years in high-end TV and film production, both in front and behind the camera, I started my own business, The Vlog Academy.
As I started holding corporate vlog workshops in the city of London, I noticed that men and women had very different levels of confidence in front of the camera. I saw it again and again, and it developed into a pattern.
As I set up the cameras and asked the group to get filming, all the men stepped forward, and all the women took a step back – most of them just wanted to melt into the wall.
Women have very different blocks and fears than men, and want more long-term support and accountability.
If it’s like this on a high corporate level in London, what must the rest of the world look like?
The impact and consequences of this is enormous. For women, for businesses, in our communities and on humanity, globally. For every woman who is held back, there’s a dent in the gender equality progression.
This is why EyeStorm Women was born in 2018 – a community just for women, offering a more holistic pathway to confidence, with a mixture of training, workshops and events, to develop courage from the inside out, to step forward and speak up.
And this is my latest project – Speak Up Woman! A public speaking training course and speaker event for women. I hope you can support us one way or the other – get involved and welcome on board!
